The idea of olive + elm came after decades of working at salons and meeting new clients and not only experiencing firsthand lazy salon owners and Stylists but hearing story after story from clients of their own personal experiences on their search for simply a Stylist that would just take their time and LISTEN. How hard could it be to teach basic Customer Service skills to new Stylists and watch them flourish?? After 5 years of taking care of our clients, I would have to say, it can be difficult but it's also amazing to see such young humans, many who spent their cosmetology school experience ONLINE, be completely natural at making our guests feel super comfortable.
Creating a salon space that had a smaller carbon footprint was super important too and she is working to make olive + elm not only a salon full of amazing Stylists, but also a space where almost every product used has little to no negative impact on our creatures, our water and most importantly, our bodies.

Hi! I'm Crystal and I can't wait to meet you! With over 15 years in the beauty industry my life has been transformed through the ability to share my knowledge, expertise and talent.
I specialize in extensions, special occasion styles and haircuts (loves doing pixie and short cuts!) but I also love an amazing color transformation!

Jess is an AZ native who loves transforming short hair into bold, edgy styles. Whether it's a modern shag, a retro mullet, a sharp clipper cut, or a playful pixie, she loves working with clients to create looks that are both stylish and empowering. When she's not boosting confidence in her clients, she is raising her four amazing daughters with her husband or nose deep in a book.

Growing up in her mom’s salon, Andie has always had an innate love for hair. She started her career over 15 years ago in Los Angeles, training under one of Beverly Hill's top stylists. Since then, Andie has worked with many amazing stylists that have inspired her from Los Angeles to Scottsdale, which led her to become a dedicated cutting specialist. She is constantly continuing her education to further hone her craft. Andie loves to collaborate with her clients to create the best look for them. From chic bobs to lived-in layers, high-shine glosses, and smoothing treatments, she’s got you covered!
Elise Perracchio

I was born in Detroit, MI and moved to AZ in '89. I attended beauty school as a teenager and have been doing hair now for over 20 years. I specialize in foiling, creative color, color corrections and soft-textured haircuts on fine hair. I've worked with Local 336 Hair/Makeup on many stage shows at Gammage Auditorium here in Tempe. I've worked with Aveda most of my career. I've lived most of my life immersed in the performing arts and currently work music festivals throughout the year in the artist relations department. I love to travel, experience live music and spend time in nature paddleboarding on the Salt River. I came to olive + elm to work with my favorite product line and haircolor line, Davines and to be a part of a Green Circle Salon. My goal is to become a Davines Educator in the future. I instantly felt 'home' in this salon and I hope it makes you feel the same!

Jasmine Bieberdorf

Jasmine was born in Tulsa, OK but moved here to AZ at a young age. She loves to travel and spends as much time as possible with her friends and family.
Jasmine enjoys doing all color services but REALLY loves doing Blondes.
Her favorite part of the job is her ability to make everyone who sits in her chair leave feeling amazing and confident about themselves!
Kelsey Janssens

Kelsey moved from Oregon to Arizona looking for a little change!
She enjoys all things hair and is very passionate about dimensional color, blondes and special occasion and bridal styles
Her passion for hair started at a young age, spending lots of time in the salon, watching her Mom work behind the chair. She now has the privilege of others achieve their hair goals.
In her free time, you'll find her out exploring her new city or binge watching her favorite shows or FaceTiming her family back in Oregon.
